2) BACKGROUND
Before I tell you the story of the
overthrow of the United States of America, let be give you a little
background.
Take a wider view of the world. Look
on a map and see all of the countries all over the world. There are
big countries, there are little countries, there are rich countries
and poor countries. What makes a country a country. It's the army.
Face it. It has been the history of
mankind that might makes right. Your going to do it my way or I am
going to kick your butt. It has always been that way. This land is
mine because I can defend it. This land is mine and I will do what I
want with it and everything on it. If you don't like it I'll kick
your butt.
Isn't that what war is? This land
used to be yours. I gathered up a bunch of poor saps and sent them
out to kick your butt. Now what used to be your land is now my land.
My land, my rules. If you don't like it I'll kick your butt. My
army is bigger than yours so you'll do it my way.
That's what happened in America. Some
people came here and claimed that the King of England owned all of
this land and we'll fight anyone that says differently. The King's
land, the King's rules.
Well, soon there were 13 colonies all
built on the king's land. The only problem was the king's rules. He
was living large and we were doing all of the work. The King of
England was starting to treat us like slaves. We work you take our
money. You keep sending people over here and they pretend that they
are legally stealing our money and putting us in jail. But, what are
you going to do? There are so many of them, with weapons.
That's why they claimed the land for
the King of England in the first place. They wanted the protection
of his army and navy. But, if he is going to rob us instead of
protect us, than what good is he. The history of mankind is written
with the protection racket. If you don't do what I want and give me
some of your money, I'll kick your butt and take it. I have people
that will make you do what I want.
Finally, enough people got mad and
they decided that one colony had no chance against the army and navy
of the King of England. His army, His rules. They did, however,
realize that 13 colonies would have a shot.
So, the colonies got together and
wrote an open letter to the King of England and the world. We told
the king of England that we were fed up with his rules. We told him;
You know that land you thought you owned in America, well, think
again. It used to be your land and your rules. Now it is our land
and our rules. If you don't like it, we will kick your butt. This
was the Declaration of Independence.
Well, he didn't like it and the butt
kicking began. That was the revolutionary war. What it actually
was, was the theft of property and the rights that go with the
ownership of property. Our land, our rules.
You used to own this land and you made
up the rules. Now, we are strong enough to take it from you and
defend it. We'll make up the rules.
Face it, we didn't offer to buy the
land we just claimed it to be ours. We claim this land to be ours,
you claim the land to be yours. Might makes right. Let's fight
about it.
Well, it's one thing to claim the
land, it's quite another to hold on to it. If we don't find a way to
defend ourselves, sure enough, some clown with an army is going to
take it from us just like we took it from the king of England. There
will be a war.
Then again, if we put our defense in
the hands of a few, we're soon to wind up with another king and in
the same boat we just fought our way out of.
Here's what we did. We were 13
colonies owned by the King of England. Now, we were 13 sovereign
nation States. Each of these Sovereign nation States were on the
same footing as any other Sovereign nation State in the world.
Think of it as 13 countries. Just
like England, France, Spain, Denmark and Mexico are countries, so
were Maine, Virginia, Delaware and all of the other States. Why are
any of these places countries? Because they said so. And, they'll
kick anyones butt that says differently.
Well, this still won't work. We are
now 13 countries, but what's going to keep some other country from
invading us 13 times. Well, it's harder to conqueror 13 countries at
once then it is to conquer one country 13 times. We had just proved
that with England.
It has been the history of mankind.
We need to make friends. We need an alliance with all of the States.
Attack one State and you attack us all. But, what's to prevent a
few States from ganging up and attacking the other States? Then
again, if we make a large peace keeping force to prevent the States
from fighting, were right back where we started. Sooner or later,
some one will take over this central force, control the army, and we
will be right back where we started. My army, my rules.
What we came up with was so novel that
it threatened the world. Everyone is a King. Everyone is just as
much of a King as the King of England, the King of France or the King
of Spain. It's good to be the King. Obviously, this didn't sit well
with those other kings.
That's what it means. All men are
created equal. There is only one way for all men to be created
equal. They must all be created Kings. In England, even to this
day. Some men are born king, Some are born lords. Some are born
princes. Some are born surfs and commoners. In our United
countries, we are all born Kings.
What makes a King a King? It is the
ownership of Property. It has always been this way. My stuff, my
rules. My house, my rules. My ship, my rules and if you don't like
it you have three choices, do it my way, do it my way after I flog
you or get off my ship. That's what the "H.M.S." means before
the English Ship names. Her Majesty's ship. My stuff, my rules.
It has been the same since the dawn of
Man. The biggest bully runs things. I am in charge because I can
force you to do what I want. I can kick your butt.
Well, if we are all going to be Kings,
we can't have this. What is going to prevent the King next door from
coming over and invading your kingdom and claiming that the land is
now his? Isn't that what Kings do? Isn't that what Hitler did to
all of those countries? Isn't that how we got this country in the
first place? We just took it. Isn't that how we got slaves since
the dawn of man? Slavery is just war on an individual basis. A more
powerful group attacks and then they claim to own you. If you don't
like it they'll kick your butt again.
No, we needed a better way. If every
man was going to be a king, we needed a way to protect each king. We
needed to protect each King from all other kings. Not only the king
next door, but the king in any country, anywhere. We also needed to
protect each King from the servants that they hired to manage the
Kings property, the government.
What they did was novel. They started
from the bottom up. Each man is a King. What makes a King a King?
Property. Just what property does each King own? He owns his life,
his Liberty and his freedom to go where he wants and do what he
wants. His right to pursue his happiness, wherever that pursuit may
take him. He owns this property, among other property rights, and he
can trace his ownership in this property back to the Creator. He
rules his property by divine right. The Creator gave him these
rights. No person or government can take these rights away. I have
clear title all the way back to the Creator. That's why these rights
are unalienable. You have clear title to this property. You are the
Sovereign King of this property, ruling by Divine Right. Why is it
like this? Because we declared it to be so in the Declaration of
Independence and we will kick anyones butt that says differently.
That's why. Now, with those rights safe, it's now time to create a
government.
Since all men are Kings, we need a way
to speak with a unified voice. Since all men are Kings we have all
of this common property that must be managed. We also need a way to
settle disputes between Kings. This is what these Sovereign Nations
we call States were created to do.
It's not a novel idea. The government
is created as the property manager of the King. The only difference
here is in how many kings there are. There is not one property
owner, the King, and his government of property managers to enforce
his rules. Everyman is a King and the government is beneath us.
They are our property managers. Our servants. Our hired help.
Those roads that you drive on. Their
not the State's roads. They're your roads that the State manages for
you, the king. Those buildings that you enter. Those are the Kings'
buildings that the property managers are managing for you. Did you
ever feel like a King on the roads or in government buildings when
dealing with the hired help? Of course not, your not a King anymore.
Your a subject.
We created bodies of representatives
of the Kings to agree on the Rules of Kingship. We created court
systems to settle disputes between Kings. But, here again, we had to
do things differently. All men are Kings and the government is just
the hired help. The janitor does not settle disputes between Kings.
Plus, representatives can be corrupt. Everyone knows how hard it is
to get good help. We need safeguards from our representatives, the
hired help. You know, lock up the valuables.
We solved both of these problems with
our Court System. All disputes between kings will be decided by
Kings. This is our jury system. 12 unbiased Kings will be summonsed
and the dispute will be placed before them. 12 Kings will settle
disputes between Kings.
We have created a field of battle for
Kings. No more does might make right. All Kings, rich and poor,
strong and weak will appear on a level playing field before a jury of
their peers, Kings all. Not only does this panel of Kings hear the
facts, they are above the Law. They are Kings after all. They are
empowered to override the law. They can settle the dispute in the
only appropriate way that Kings can settle disputes between Kings.
As you would have others do unto you.
Wealth and power are of no help on
this field of battle. 12 Kings will decide disputes between Kings.
Even the law itself is decided by these Kings. They can decide, as
Kings, that if I were in the same position, I would have done the
same thing and declare that the Law does not apply in this case.
Sure, technically, he broke the law, but he should not be punished
for doing what I would have done in the same circumstances. Now, we
are even protected against the corruption of our representatives and
agents. Only Kings can rule on disputes between Kings.
In order to ensure a level playing
field, the Kings also hired a referee. Look at any combat arena we
call sports. There is always a referee. We hired one. He's called
the Judge. His job is not to decide disputes. He's just the hired
help. His job is to ensure that the rules are followed. You know,
no hitting below the belt. But, even in boxing, the referee doesn't
decide the outcome. Only Kings can settle disputes between Kings,
not the hired help.
Now it doesn't even do any good to
bribe the Judge. Sure, he can cheat and make bad calls, but, 12
kings should be able to see through this, as fans at any sporting
event can attest.
Even bribing the Jury of Kings is
discouraged. If a King on a Jury accepts a bribe, he is putting his
own kingship in jeopardy. It's as simple as the golden rule. Do
unto others as you would have others do unto you.
What an awesome concept. Every man a
King. Every King sworn to protect every King. Every man a King with
an Army of one. Sworn to use that army of one to protect the rights
of all other kings and their army of one. It was the greatest mutual
defense treaty in the history of mankind.
I am a King of the country of
Louisiana sworn ally of every King in the country of Louisiana and
sworn ally of every King in every other country that have united
together under the name of the United States of America. If a King
of another State of the United States should come to our country, we
will treat him as well as any of our Kings. He is, after all, one of my
allies sworn to come to my aid if my kingdom is threatened, as I am
sworn to come to his aid should his Kingdom be threatened.
With such small kingdoms it must be
this way. If his kingdom should fall to aggression, then mine is
next. It's just a matter of time.
It will change your whole attitude.
Each man a King with the smallest kingdom being the body of the King.
Each King your sworn ally. Look around you. Is this the way the
hired help should treat Kings? Kings have got to stick together.
You don't think that the pawns wrote
the rules of chess, do you? Pawns get sacrificed and killed. Kings
are never killed, only captured. Kings wrote the rules of chess and
agreed that the kings will always be protected. Call it professional
courtesy. Even when Kings are captured, they are usually treated
well. Kings need to stick together. Once captured, only Kings will
decide the fate of Kings.
Now we have all of these Kings ruling,
by divine right, over their own kingdoms and the common property of
all the Kings called the Sovereign Nation State. We have formed a
mutual protection treaty not only with all of the Kings in our
Country but with all of the other Kings in all of those other
countries we call States.
Well, we still need to be protected
against invasion by these other countries. We know treaties. If you
don't thinks so, ask the Indians. Our Constitution is just a treaty
between Kings.
We need a set of rules for a level
playing field between Kings of different countries. If I am going to
treat your kings as well as we treat our own kings I need some
assurance that you won't let just anybody be king. We are going to
all have to decide just who is allowed to be king. Plus, there are
other issues that must be decided by all of the Nation States. Like
when we go to war. We also need to hire managers to manage the
common property of all the Kings of all the States. We also need to
come up with a way to settle disputes between these united Countries
so we don't have wars between ourselves. There is no way around it.
We need a central government. We need to hire managers to keep the
records, to speak for us as a common voice, and to manage our common
property.
Well, if we couldn't have the hired
help decide disputes between Kings, we sure can't have the hired help
deciding disputes between nations of Kings. There is only one
solution. We need to limit the amount of say that the central
managers have. We will make one court to act as binding arbitration
on whether the mutual pact of all of the United States has been
adhered to. To decide if everyone is playing by the rules, as
written, but, as Kings, we can override even them.
We'll also make some courts so that a
King in one Country can settle disputes with a King of another
Country. But, there again, Kings decide on the Fate of Kings. Sure
you can have the referee decide the dispute if you both agree. But,
there is always the option of having Kings settle disputes between
Kings, as is befitting of Kings. If you believe that our managers,
our agents, our hired help are corrupt place your fate in the hands
of your peers, Kings all. Even the Law cannot stand against the
judgment of Kings.
On every level kings are protected
from the misdeeds of their agents, the government. A jury of 12
kings can nullify the force of law on an individual basis or, if on
every individual basis, completely.
What would happen if the jury in every
tax court refused to convict the alleged offender? What would happen
if every jury refused to convict a person accused of simple
possession. How quickly would our jails empty?
Doesn't sound like the world you can
see around you does it? I am going to show you why. First I am
going to show you that the story I just told you is the way it was
meant to be. Every man a King.
I am going to tell you the Story of
Dred Scott. A slave who dared to be King. This is the story as told
to me by the United States Supreme Court. The Supreme Court told me
who was a king and just what it meant to be a King.
Then I am going to tell you the Story
of the Louisiana Butchers as told to me by the United States Supreme
Court. It's the Story of the fall of the Kings.
